About Micune Rubber — Custom Rubber Compound Manufacturer

Guangzhou Micune New Materials Co., Ltd., trading internationally as Micune Rubber, is a national high-tech enterprise specialising in the R&D, production, and supply of rubber polymer materials and custom rubber compounds.

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in the Greater Bay Area of China, we serve more than 200 rubber product manufacturers across automotive, electronics, industrial, and construction sectors.

Company Overview

Micune Rubber is registered as a National High-Tech Enterprise in China, a classification that recognises sustained investment in materials R&D and verified technical capability. Our core business is the formulation and production of custom rubber compounds — engineered elastomeric materials that rubber product manufacturers process into finished components.
We operate under the full legal name Guangzhou Micune New Materials Co., Ltd. and are located in Shitan Town, Zengcheng District, Guangzhou. This positions us within the one-hour economic circle of the Pearl River Delta, giving us efficient access to the manufacturing clusters of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao and proximity to major logistics corridors serving the rest of China and international export routes.

Since our founding in 2016, we have continuously expanded our plant area, production lines, and testing infrastructure to meet growing domestic and regional demand for precision-formulated rubber compounds.

Rubber Compound Materials

Our formulation capability covers the full range of commercially important elastomers, from general-purpose commodity rubbers to high-performance specialty compounds. Compounds are supplied as mixed stock, ready for our customers’ downstream processing operations — including extrusion, calendering, injection moulding, compression moulding, and transfer moulding.

General-Purpose Rubber Compounds

We produce compounds based on the following general-purpose polymer bases:

  • NR — Natural Rubber
  • SBR — Styrene-Butadiene Rubber
  • NBR — Nitrile Butadiene Rubber
  • CR — Chloroprene Rubber (Neoprene)
  • EPDM — Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer
  • IIR — Isobutylene Isoprene Rubber (Butyl)
  • CIIR / BIIR — Chlorobutyl / Bromobutyl Rubber
  • MPU — Polyurethane Rubber

Hot-Selling Compound Lines

Based on customer demand and application trends, the following compound types represent our highest-volume and most technically developed product lines: fluoroelastomer compounds, EPDM compounds, HNBR compounds, SBR compounds, polyurethane rubber compounds, and ethylene-vinyl/acrylate series. All are available as standard grades or fully customised formulations.

Performance Engineering: What We Design For

A rubber compound’s value is defined by the performance properties it delivers in service. Our formulation work begins with the customer’s operating conditions and regulatory constraints, and works backwards to the choice of polymer, cure system, fillers, plasticisers, and additives. We have the capability to engineer compounds for the following performance profiles:

  • Low-Temperature Flexibility: For seals, gaskets, and components operating in sub-zero environments
  • Heat Resistance: Sustained performance in elevated-temperature applications (engine compartments, industrial ovens, power equipment)
  • Oil and Fuel Resistance: For components in contact with mineral oils, hydraulic fluids, and automotive fuels
  • Chemical Resistance: Including resistance to acids, alkalis, and industrial solvents
  • Electrical Insulation: For cable jackets, connector seals, and electronic enclosures
  • Electrical Conductivity / Antistatic: For ESD-sensitive environments and conductive rubber elements
  • Flame Resistance: Low-smoke, flame-retardant compounds for construction and electrical applications
  • High Damping and Vibration Isolation: For anti-vibration mounts, bushings, and isolation padsand succinct list item

Industries and Application Sectors

Our rubber compounds are processed by customers into finished components across a wide range of industries. The following sectors represent our primary application markets:

R&D Laboratory and Technical Capabilities

Reliable rubber compounds begin with rigorous materials science. Micune Rubber operates a complete in-house R&D laboratory integrated with our raw materials production workshop. This end-to-end control — from compound formulation and raw material evaluation through to finished compound testing — is central to our quality assurance model.

Custom Rubber Compound Formulation Services

Our primary commercial model is custom rubber compound development. We work directly with rubber product manufacturers, engineering teams, and procurement managers to develop compounds that meet defined performance, processing, and regulatory specifications.

What We Provide?

Use this space to add a medium length description. Be brief and give enough information to earn a click.

  • Compound formulation design based on customer performance requirements
  • Rubber processing technology consultation — including advice on cure systems, mixing procedures, and processability optimisation
  • Part structure and component design suggestions relevant to material selection
  • Technical documentation and test data to support customer qualification and approval processes
  • Environmentally compliant compound series meeting RoHS, REACH, and PAHs regulatory requirements

Who We Work With

We supply rubber compound mixed stock to companies of all sizes — from small and medium-sized rubber product manufacturers requiring consistent supply of a specific formulation to larger OEM and ODM operations requiring multi-grade compound programmes. Our capacity and formulation flexibility allow us to serve both volume and specialised requirements.
