About Micune Rubber — Custom Rubber Compound Manufacturer
Guangzhou Micune New Materials Co., Ltd., trading internationally as Micune Rubber, is a national high-tech enterprise specialising in the R&D, production, and supply of rubber polymer materials and custom rubber compounds.
Founded in 2016 and headquartered in the Greater Bay Area of China, we serve more than 200 rubber product manufacturers across automotive, electronics, industrial, and construction sectors.
Company Overview
Micune Rubber is registered as a National High-Tech Enterprise in China, a classification that recognises sustained investment in materials R&D and verified technical capability. Our core business is the formulation and production of custom rubber compounds — engineered elastomeric materials that rubber product manufacturers process into finished components.
We operate under the full legal name Guangzhou Micune New Materials Co., Ltd. and are located in Shitan Town, Zengcheng District, Guangzhou. This positions us within the one-hour economic circle of the Pearl River Delta, giving us efficient access to the manufacturing clusters of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao and proximity to major logistics corridors serving the rest of China and international export routes.
Since our founding in 2016, we have continuously expanded our plant area, production lines, and testing infrastructure to meet growing domestic and regional demand for precision-formulated rubber compounds.
Rubber Compound Materials
Our formulation capability covers the full range of commercially important elastomers, from general-purpose commodity rubbers to high-performance specialty compounds. Compounds are supplied as mixed stock, ready for our customers’ downstream processing operations — including extrusion, calendering, injection moulding, compression moulding, and transfer moulding.
General-Purpose Rubber Compounds
We produce compounds based on the following general-purpose polymer bases:
Hot-Selling Compound Lines
Based on customer demand and application trends, the following compound types represent our highest-volume and most technically developed product lines: fluoroelastomer compounds, EPDM compounds, HNBR compounds, SBR compounds, polyurethane rubber compounds, and ethylene-vinyl/acrylate series. All are available as standard grades or fully customised formulations.
Performance Engineering: What We Design For
A rubber compound’s value is defined by the performance properties it delivers in service. Our formulation work begins with the customer’s operating conditions and regulatory constraints, and works backwards to the choice of polymer, cure system, fillers, plasticisers, and additives. We have the capability to engineer compounds for the following performance profiles:
Industries and Application Sectors
Our rubber compounds are processed by customers into finished components across a wide range of industries. The following sectors represent our primary application markets:
Automotive Manufacturing
Seals, gaskets, hoses, belts, anti-vibration mounts, and under-hood components.
Electronic and Electrical Products
Connector seals, cable jackets, insulation components, and antistatic elements.
Machinery
Oil seals, O-rings, conveyor components, and industrial gaskets.
Printing and Imaging
Rollers, blankets, and precision-profiled extrusions.
Automation and Conveying Systems
Drive belts, guide elements, and dampening components.
Power Grid Accessories
Cable accessories, insulating components, and weather seals.
Lighting
Sealing rings, gaskets, and weather-resistant enclosure components.
Home Appliances
Seals, diaphragms, and vibration-dampening components.
Construction
Expansion joint seals, waterproof strips, and structural bearings.
R&D Laboratory and Technical Capabilities
Reliable rubber compounds begin with rigorous materials science. Micune Rubber operates a complete in-house R&D laboratory integrated with our raw materials production workshop. This end-to-end control — from compound formulation and raw material evaluation through to finished compound testing — is central to our quality assurance model.
Testing and Inspection Equipment
Our laboratory is equipped to carry out both conventional and specialised mechanical and physical property testing of rubber. Testing capabilities cover the material properties critical to our customers’ application qualification processes, including hardness, tensile strength and elongation, compression set, heat ageing, low-temperature performance, oil immersion resistance, and chemical resistance.
Technical Team
Our engineering team includes professionals with academic backgrounds from South China University of Technology (SCUT) and other leading Chinese technical institutes, supplemented by experienced production engineers and laboratory technicians. This combination of academic rigour and hands-on production knowledge is reflected in the consistency of our compound formulations.
Academic and Industry-Research Collaboration
Micune Rubber maintains long-term collaborative relationships with the Guangzhou Rubber Products Research Institute and South China University of Technology for joint industry-academia-research projects. These partnerships provide our technical team with access to current research in polymer chemistry and rubber processing, and allow us to evaluate emerging raw materials and processing technologies before they reach commercial scale.
Custom Rubber Compound Formulation Services
Our primary commercial model is custom rubber compound development. We work directly with rubber product manufacturers, engineering teams, and procurement managers to develop compounds that meet defined performance, processing, and regulatory specifications.
